FAQs About Exit & Carryout Bags
Do dispensaries need exit bags?
Cannabis packaging and carryout requirements vary by state and jurisdiction. Some markets require specific child-resistant, opaque, resealable, or other packaging features. Dispensaries should confirm their local requirements and select the appropriate exit bag for their application.
What's the difference between exit bags and plastic thank you bags?
Child-resistant exit bags are designed for regulated packaging applications, while plastic thank you bags are general-purpose retail carryout bags commonly used by smoke shops, bodegas, convenience stores, and other retailers.
Can dispensaries use paper bags?
Paper bags can be used as a convenient outer carryout option where permitted. If child-resistant or other regulated packaging is required, the compliant package can be placed inside the paper carryout bag.
Are plastic carryout bags good for bodegas and smoke shops?
Yes. Plastic retail bags are lightweight, economical, easy to store, and useful for carrying smoking accessories, papers, packaged goods, and other everyday retail purchases.
Can I buy exit bags and dispensary packaging in bulk?
Yes. MJWholesale specializes in wholesale dispensary and smoke shop supply, making it easy to combine exit bags with packaging, rolling products, accessories, and other store essentials in the same order.
